Send-Off Information
The Shawnee Duals Tournament was held Thursday at the Firelake Arena. It is widely accepted as the unofficial JH Dual State Championship and involves some of the best girls' wrestling teams in Oklahoma. It includes 6A schools all the way down 3A. Davis was the smallest school in the tournament and placed 5th overall out of 14 teams.
Lily Rushing, Kynleigh Brock, McKinney Womack, Lexi Waters, Brianna Bristow, Carley Goebel, Victoria Rushing, Valentina Ibarrola, Greer Womack, Kynlee Irons, Aspen Beatley, Parker Martinez, NaLora Russel all wrestled matches.
Our girls won 20 matches and Parker Martinez was named to the All-Tournament Team. Congratulations Lady Wolves, Coach Martinez and Coach Patterson!

Congratulations to McKinley Williams-winner of the Thanksgiving Story Time Drawing! McKinley was one of many who tuned in for Thanksgiving Story Time with Mrs. Webb on November 24th. Each DES student who listed their name and/or commented during or after the Facebook live story time was entered in a drawing to receive the book Turkey Trouble, which was read by Mrs. Webb. Just a reminder that school will dismiss at 12:30pm tomorrow, Friday, November 22nd for the 2nd round playoff game. We will also be out of school November 25 - 29 for Thanksgiving Break. We will see all of you back on Monday, December 2nd.
